It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Kathleen Burgess of Capac, Michigan, born in East Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on June 18, 2024, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hesketh and Kathleen Hesketh (Wheeler); her sister Dorothy VanDoeselaar (Gladys Deason); and her daughter-in-law Mary Burgess. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Burgess of Novi, David Burgess (Mary June) of Grand Rapids, Ronald Burgess of College Station, TX and Kathleen Burgess of Troy. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
