It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Dean Nemecek (Capac, Michigan), who passed away on September 7, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Isabelle Nemecek (Issy). He is survived by: his children, Carman Nemecek (Whitney Stewart), Lois Remer (Mark) and Joe Nemecek (Carol); his grandsons, Jacob Nemecek (Jennifer), Joshua Nemecek and Joseph Nemecek; his great grandchild Bexley Nemecek; and his sister Nancy Elliott (Nemecek). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mussey Township Fire Department Women's Auxiliary.
