He was predeceased by: his sister Rae Anne Tucker of Marshall, WI.. He is survived by: his wife Andrea Matera; his children, Jennifer Christine Zaliwski (Brian) of Royal Oak, MI and Michael Ambrose Matera of Canton, MI; and his siblings, Gene Matera (Mary) of Winchester, CA and Terry Matera of Madison, WI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
