It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Spyros Stylianou of Canton, Michigan, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his child Christalla Mouzakis (Anthoni); and his brother Costas Koupparis (Rita). He is survived by: his wife Helen Stylianou; his son John Stylianou (Karen); his grandchildren, Scott Stylianou, Brian Stylianou, Yanni Mouzakis and Eleni Mouzakis; his siblings, Dora Efstathiou (Harry) and Yiannakis Koupparis; his nephews, Ted and Nick; and his niece Barbara.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home (42600 Ford Rd, Canton, MI 48187). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nativity of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church (39851 Five Mile Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
