We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2022, at the age of 92, René Vela Salinas of Canton, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Bertha Guerra of Vela; his parents, Victorino and Esperanza; and his siblings, Leonel, Nohemi, Elia and Ahida.
He is survived by: his children, Bertha V. Arribas (Emilio), Rene Vela Jr., Jaime Vela (Marie) and Diana Matthews (Steven); his sisters, Nora Moreno and Julieta Molina; and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Emilio René, Julia, Victor, Natalie, Mario and Isabella.
