He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Edwards and Loraine Edwards; his wife Laura Shearer; and his siblings, Cynthia Kluq and Frederick Edwards Jr..
He is survived by: his siblings, Diane Christianson and James Edwards. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church (14175 Farmington Rd, Livonia, MI 48154). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
