She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Leo and Agnes Theresa Benner; her husband Richard "Dick" Sartor; and her siblings, Aline Mayer (Donald), Howard Benner (Virginia), Mildred Piechocki (Alvin), Norman Benner (Annabel), Martha Alspach (Clifton), Bernetta Kemp (Jack), Alfred Benner (Marlene) and Gerald Benner (Bill).
She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Girolamo (David) and Maureen Sartor (Ryan Welch); and her grandchildren, Brixon, Elliot and Kendra Schmiesing.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The lying in state was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas A'Becket Catholic Church (555 S Lilley Rd, Canton, MI 48188). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
