We bid farewell to Jimmy Harvey Troutman of Canton, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 13, 2025 at the age of 92. Jimmy Harvey touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Troutman and Florence Troutman; his siblings, Helen Rickels (Jack), Ferne Mohar and Gene Troutman (Beverly); and his granddaughter Jessica Troutman.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, William "Bill" Troutman (Marla Blume), Brian Bartes (Heidi), Jennifer Palmer (Todd), Paul Bartes (Karyn) and Sarah Troutman; his brothers, William "Bill" Troutman (Ellen) and Glenn Troutman (late Mary); his grandchildren, Joshua, Benjamin, Noah, Andrew, Abigail, Caroline (Nick), Caleb, Tyler (Eileen), Ettajane, Mitchell (Sydney), Madeline, Samuel and Haley (Ben); and his great grandchild Charlie Mae.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home (42600 Ford Rd, Canton, MI 48187). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Savior Presbyterian Church (36660 Cherry Hill Rd, Westland, MI 48185). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Jim to Kirk of Our Savior Presbyterian Church.
