It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Chaban of Canton, Michigan, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brother John Gerada (Joan). She is survived by: her close friend Joan Ransom; her children, Mark Chaban, Greg Chaban (Carole), Pam Lerach (Tom) and Dan Chaban (Angela); her grandchildren, Eugene, Amy, Megan, Susan, Joe, Jessica, Kevin, Patrick, Gregory, Timothy, Robert, Daniel, Mackenzie, Danielle, Jaime and Jacob; and her siblings, Gwen Omans (late Tom), Linda Hyatt (Ray), Peg Elwarner (late Jack), Carol Shaw (Jim), Larry Gerada and Robert Gerada (Judy).
