He was predeceased by: his parents, Auburn Petty and Kate Hunter Butler. He is survived by: his wife Paula E. Petty; his daughter Tami M. Wilson (Michael); his sister-in-law Debra A. Hoeck; and his nieces and nephews, Kay Ellis (Philip), Vicki Nelson, Sheila Burleson, Zane Davis (Becky) and David Butler (Lori). He is also survived by many cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
