It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Minks (Canton, Michigan), who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of James Minks to show support.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Minks and Blanch Minks (Hughes); his brother Roy Hughes Minks; and his wife Anna Gayle Minks. He is survived by: his sisters, Hettie Lynn Tynes and Sharon Sue Burkett; his children, Sandra Kay Mroz (Mark), Cheryl Ann Poris (Andrew), James David Minks (Shanda) and Robert Alan Minks (Tanya); and his stepson Charles Blundell Reynolds, II. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Liberty Baptist Church (135 Main St, Liberty, MS 39645).
