He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Bretz and Mary Bretz; and his sister Anne Marie. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Eric and Kristen; his grandson Gabriel Thomas; and his siblings, James (Kathy), Monica Bretz Bateman and Elaine Margarita (Scott).
