He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward and Mary Margaret Ward (Hackett); his sister Jane; and his daughter Christine. He is survived by: his children, Molly Ward (Mary Lou Pfaendtner) of Harper Woods, MI, Bill Ward (Gretchen) of Plymouth, MI, Teresa (Kevin Hannan) of Chicago, IL, Anne (Kieran Marion) of Grand Ledge, MI and Thomas Ward (Rebecca) of Oak Park, IL; his grandchildren, Patrick, Addison, Violet, Dillon, Sean, Eamon, Oliver, Mae and Declan; and his siblings, James and Anne. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and nephews.
