It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Edward Ward III of Canton, Michigan, who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward and Mary Margaret Ward (Hackett); his sister Jane; and his daughter Christine. He is survived by: his children, Molly Ward (Mary Lou Pfaendtner) of Harper Woods, MI, Bill Ward (Gretchen) of Plymouth, MI, Teresa (Kevin Hannan) of Chicago, IL, Anne (Kieran Marion) of Grand Ledge, MI and Thomas Ward (Rebecca) of Oak Park, IL; his grandchildren, Patrick, Addison, Violet, Dillon, Sean, Eamon, Oliver, Mae and Declan; and his siblings, James and Anne. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Kenneth Catholic Church (14951 N Haggerty Rd, Plymouth, MI 48170). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
