He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ghrist and Lillian Ghrist; and his sister Ellene. He is survived by: his spouse Theresa L. Johnson; his children, Jessica Tonkovich (Michael), Mary Hart (Robert), Kendra Geralt (Victor), Kyle Busch, Megan Laiacono (Blaise), Justin Greenwood, Kayden Busch and Christian Busch; and his sibling William Ghrist.
The family has suggested memorial contributions to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Ann Arbor, 1600 Washington Heights, Ann Arbor, MI 48104 in lieu of flowers.
