With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Joseph Dowd of Canton, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on July 1, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sr. Dowd and Angela Dowd; and his brothers, Thomas Patrick, Paul and John.

He is survived by: his wife Beth Dowd (Croteau); his children, Meagan Kaweicki (Collin), Erin Dowd (Jeff Duchesne) and Molly Landis (Nick); his grandchildren, Audrey, Brady, Violet, Charlotte, Breslin, Miles and Hannah; and his sisters, Mary Diponio (David), Anne Kott (Ron) and Angela Kott (Paul). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
