It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claudia Jean Szerlag (Canton, Michigan), who passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Sockow and Lauretta Sockow; and her siblings, William, Virginia Garbarino (late Lawrence) and Luanne Andruczk.
She is survived by: her husband Don; her children, Deb Richards (John), Mark Szerlag (Diane), Paul Szerlag (Cindy), Cathy Ciavattone (Frank) and Steve Szerlag (Kristyn); her grandchildren, Eric (Jackie), Stacey (Blake), Tyler, Grant, Blake, Jacob, Justin and Avari; her great grandchildren, Millie, Cameron and Molly; her brother Jim; and her sister-in-law Diane Szerlag.
