With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Christine Ann Kowalczyk (Canton, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 27, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Kobane and Walter Kobane; and her husband Robert Kowalczyk. She is survived by: her children, Christine, Mary Spencer (Randy), Mark (Elizabeth), Paula Kowalczyk (Alan Butella), Rob (Cortney) and Kristen Kowalczyk Rivas (Mario Rivas); her grandchildren, Ian, Nicholas, Andrew Spencer, Kathryn Powell (Ryan), Sara, Lilly Kowalczyk, Eero Butella and Jasper Kowalczyk; and her sisters, Rita Kobane and Donna Russell (Paul).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas A'Becket Catholic Church (555 S Lilley Rd, Canton, MI 48188). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mrs. Kowalczyk's name may be made to the Care Team Home Health & Hospice (https://www.tctcares.com) or St. Thomas a'Becket Church – St. Vincent de Paul Fund or a charity of donor's choice.
