Charles William Hynek Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hynek and Helen Hynek (Seng); his grandson Luke Pietro; and his brother-in-law William. He is survived by: his granddaughters, Catherine, Maeve and Meaghan; his wife Patricia; his children, Chuck Hynek (Lucia), Kristen Keane (Daniel) and Cat Hynek; his grandchildren, Attie and Molly; his siblings, Lee Gunn (late James) and George Hynek (Sue); and his brothers-in-law, Cliff, Jimmy and Michael Bruneau. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A rosary was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home (851 N Canton Center Rd, Canton, MI 48187). The lying in state was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas A'Becket Catholic Church (555 S Lilley Rd, Canton, MI 48188). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
