He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Talmadge and Nina Mae Crossnoe (Barkdale); his former wife Margaret; his brothers, Marvin and Robert; and his granddaughter Megan Erickson.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Clayton Erickson (Lisa), Abbie Gebhart (Pete), Jennifer Tews (Michael) and Jason Erickson (Julie); and his grandchildren, Brooke, Nicole, Brian, Nolan, Emma and Cailey. He is also survived by his friends, sons-in-law, family members.
He made many pieces of furniture, and he taught all eight of his grandchildren how to fish, until his Parkinson's Disease made it too difficult for him to continue.
