He is survived by: his wife Sharon Thompson; his children, Michele Olson (Garrett) and David Meininger; his stepsons, Robert Ellis (Melanie) and Brian Ellis (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Jesse Meininger, Sarah McKee (Brian), Valerie Brito (Emanuel), Kristen Nelson (Michael), Travis Meininger, Cody Meininger (Katie), Abbey, Cameron, Nolan, Callum and Keegan Ellis; his great grandchildren, Atreya, Collin, Aubrie, Bailley and Camden; his nephews, John, Dan, Jim, Joe, Matt and Mark; and his niece Deborah. He is also survived by three children.
