Rex H. McKibbin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rex H. McKibbin of Camden, Michigan, who passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Rex departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Rex. Though Rex may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley McKibbin and Naomi McKibbin (Crampton); and his siblings, Margaret Grace McKibbin, Clarence Lee McKibbin and Ray Eddie McKibbin.
He is survived by: his wife Joy (Gratz); and his children, Karen Walker (Frank) of Waterloo, Paula Monroe (Bob) of Montgomery and Mark McKibbin (Diana) of Montgomery. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reading Chapel (403 S Main St, Reading, MI 49274). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Montgomery United Methodist Church (218 S Michigan St, Montgomery, MI 49255).
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Parkinson's Foundation or the Hillsdale County Humane Society.
