She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gilpin and Barbara Gilpin (Welch); her husband Aubrey Gier; and her siblings, Robert, Max Gilpin and Peg Westfall.
She is survived by: her daughter Tonya Gier; her sister Sally Hicksenhiser; and her sisters-in-law, Edna Gilpin, Marella Gier and Ruth Gier. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
