He is survived by: his siblings, Sulo Maki of Lake Linden and Mary Morrison; his children, David Maki (Cindy) of Calumet, Wanda Erkkila of Calumet, Dwane Maki and Lissa Maki (Dave) of Calumet; his stepdaughter Jamie Connellt (Tyson); his close friend Priscilla DeRocshier; his grandchildren, Matt Manninen (Marnie) of Belleville, Roy Manninen (Sarah) of Hancock, Brittany Harrison (Kirk) of Orlando, Dawson Hendrickson of Calumet, Rachel Peterson of Lake Linden, Brendan Maki of Lake Linden and Mackenzie Maki of Calumet; his great grandchildren, Degan, Everett, Jikhan, Ylenia and Yana; his nieces and nephews, Darcy and Gary Maki (Gloria); his grandson Sheridan; and his spouse Claire Kolmonen (Aho).
