She was predeceased by: her parents, George Otto Cuber and Emma Gerstung Cuber (Gerstung). She is survived by: her husband Gordon Newman; her siblings, Vivian Cuber Ilk and George Russell Cuber; her children, Arthur Enard Newman and Barbara Alice Newman; her son-in-law Ryan Jon Kilpela; her grandchildren, Alicia Noelle Newman, Donald William Elander, Jr. and Sharon Susanne Mullis (Niedholdt); her children, Peg Niedholdt (Gene), George Newman, Mary Anne Newman (Vertin), Liisa Koljonen (Barry), Jennifer Oakes (Craig), Eric Newman (Jennifer Smith), Sam Newman (Julie), Liddy Markham (Jamey), Carol Janckila (Bruce), Michael Newman (Joy) and Bob Newman (Catherine); her cousin Dickie Salamun; and her friend Barbara Knapczyk. She is also survived by 51 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
