He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bardos and Leona Bardos (Schmidt); his grandson Lukas Ballew; his daughter-in-law Maria Ballew; and his brothers, Joseph Bardos Jr. and Donald Bardos.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Eliasen; his children, Robert Ballew of Munich Germany, Robin Bardos of California, Richard Bardos Jr. and Rinda Clopp; his stepsons, Lawrence Burnett (Eve) of Washington and Erik Burnett of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Thomas, Melissa Ballew and Ava Clopp; and his stepgrandson William. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
