She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav Junttila and Lempi Junttila; her husband Edward Benda; her daughter Deborah Stiehl; her siblings, Eleanor Harmala (Bill), Mildred Heltunen (Arnold), Wilbert Junttila (Ginny), Reuben Junttila (Lynn), George Junttila (Irene), Carl Junttila and Elizabeth Junttila; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Bohjanen, Charles Morgan and Her.
She is survived by: her children, Karl Benda (Diane) of Calumet, Lynn Benda-Sherman of Calumet, Steve Benda (Ann) of Cokato, MN, Martin Benda (Denise) of Edmonds, WA, Jeffrey Benda (Barbara) of Rockford, MI, Bruce Benda (Anne), Robert Benda (Christina) of Sandy, UT and James Benda (Michelle) of Gilbert, MN; her sister Mabel Bohjanen; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Morgan of Laguna Hills, CA and Angie Junttila of Big Traverse, MI. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
