He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Jean Rastello, Patricia Loonsfoot and Nancy Butler; his brothers-in-law, Merlyn "Pinky" Rastello, Larry Loonsfoot and Neil "Tom" Davison; the mother of his children Pat Butler; his significant other Bonnie Butler; his children, Jason Butler, Darren Butler (Casey) of Gaylord, MI and Bridget Spencer (Paul) of Central Lake, MI; his grandchildren, Jonathan Spencer (Danielle) of Pittsburgh, PA, Michael Butler (Jessica) of Bellaire, MI, Amber Spencer of Bellaire, MI, Owen Butler and Ella Butler of Gaylord, MI.; his great grandchildren, Liam, Luca Spencer of Pittsburgh, PA and Violet Spencer of Bellaire, MI; his stepchildren, Debbie, Bobby (Allyson) and Roger Filizetti (Donna); his stepgrandchildren, Tony, Tristin, Tabin, Amanda and Lizzy; his siblings, Tom Butler (Barbara), Bill Butler (Cindy), Lois "Mike" Davison (late Tom) and Margaret "Peggy" Butler; and his close friend Amara Butler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
