Eleanore Wilmers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2019, at the age of 97, Eleanore Wilmers (Calumet, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Kallio and Kaisa Kallio; and her husband John Wilmers. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Maria Eastman (Greg), Kristina Karkkainen (Tom), Kelly Garland (Heath), Kerry Jackson (Eric), Greg Kingstrom (Cassi), Melissa Chichester (Alan), Joshua Soumis and Molly Bonacci (Joe); her great grandchildren, Gunnar, Gus, Gabe, Kaisa, Evi, Tommy, Ida, Elsa, Anna, Landon and Kellan; and her siblings-in-law, Karl, Dolores Wilmers of Peoria and June Wilmers of Laurium. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Eleanore may be made to the Laurium Shining Light Church, 246 Tamarack St., Laurium, MI 49913.
