It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Heikkila (Calumet, Michigan), who passed away on March 21, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matt Heikkila and Jennie Heikkila (Koski); and his siblings, Wallace, Wesley, Roy, Arthur, Garnet, Harold, Ralph, Stella Priest, Edna Welsh and Ethel.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Greenleaf of Dollar Bay; his children, Sheri Faull (Ed) of Houghton Diane, Edward J. Heikkila (Kay) and Jennie Heikkila (Kurt Thomas) of Ontonagon; his grandchildren, Craig Mayworm, Katie Wollum (Eric), Christina Balcer (Samuel Huber), Brianna Heikkila (Jon Rothley), Brittney Heikkila, Alyssa Krueger (Kav) and Edward R. Heikkila; his great grandchild Remilynn Rothley; his daughter-in-law Diane Heikkila of Ada, MI.; his sister Helen Zeman of Niles, IL.; his niece Pat Maatta of Osceola; and his nephew Roy Edwin Heikkila of Dubois Wyoming. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
