He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Jarve and Eleanor Jarve (Koivu); his stepmother Geraldine Jarve (Barnowski); and his siblings, Karen Jarve and Kenny Jarve.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Bessner of Calumet; his son Kyle Jarve (Jessica); his grandson Joel Jarve of Marquette; his daughter Danielle Bankemper (Robert); his granddaughters, Kora, Taylen and Emma Bankemper of Laurium; his stepbrothers, Larry Swetich (Debra) of Marquette and Gary Swetich of Calumet; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Gerard (Ray) of Laurium, Lori Bessner of Minnesota, Vicki Bessner of Minnesota and Bill Bessner of Laurium. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
