Carol Louise Kangas Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Louise Kangas of Calumet, Michigan, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Carol's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Carol's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Strom and Gertrude Strom; her former husband Daniel Thames; her husband Dennis Kangas; and her brother Billy.

She is survived by: her son Dennis Thames (Pamela); and her brother Rudolph Strom (Sharon). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Copper Country Humane Society in honor of Carol.
