He is survived by: his wife Deborah Haataja; his children, Eric Kemppainen of Atlantic Mine and Sarah Mukavetz (Brandon, Sr.) of Hancock; his grandchildren, Dorian, Dexter, Gabrielle and Brandon, Jr.; his brothers, Mark Kemppainen (Ellen) of Denmark, Wisc and David Kemppainen of Green Bay, Wis.; his sister-in-law Rosanne Poisson of Houghton; his niece Deborah Haataja of Atlantic Mine; and his brother John. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
