He was predeceased by: his parents, Reynold and Josephine; his former wife Betty; and his son Brian. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ellen; his children, Denise DeVries (Brian), Deb Bischoff (Dirk), Doug Curtis (Mindy) and Eric Curtis; his grandchildren, Tyler, Nicole, Austin DeVries, Aubrey, Seth, Jillaine Bischoff, Mackenzie, Owen Curtis and Max Curtis; and his siblings, Alan Nickels, Sandra Knowles and Sharon Dill (John). He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces.
