She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerrit VerMeer and Jeanette VerMeer; and her siblings, Ruthie VerMeer and Harold VerMeer. She is survived by: her husband Paul; her children, Brian Hoekema (Richielene) and Brenda Bechtol (David); her grandchildren, Silviana, Jordan and Joslyn; her great grandchildren, Aubreana, Connor, Karston and Triton; her siblings, Gertrude VanderHamm, James VerMeer (Elaine) and Ken VerMeer (Dorothy); and her brother-in-law Peter Hoekema. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
