Jay Leroy Shook Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Leroy Shook (Caledonia, Michigan), who passed away on August 28, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Shook and Veva Shook; his siblings, Merle (Ruth) and Ernest Shook (Virginia); his wife Eileen Miller; his father-in-law Harry; and his siblings-in-law, Eula Davison, Robert Davison and Theodore Cutler.
He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline Babcock (Phil), Sharon Shook, Nancy Haney (Dean), Brian Shook (Ruth) and Jill Wilson (Doug); his grandchildren, Margaret Lane, Sarah Walton (Geoffrey), Paul Shook (Jennifer), Blake Wilson (Andrea) and Brandon Wilson (Brittany); and his sister-in-law Wilma Cutler. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
The family is requesting in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to The Village of Heather Hills, 1055 Forest Hill Avenue, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.
