James Chandler Porritt Jr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Chandler Porritt Jr. of Caledonia, Michigan, who passed away on March 17, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Porritt and Jessie Porritt (Holcomb); and his former wife Anne McDowell. He is survived by: his siblings, Kenneth, Katherine and Barbara; his sons, Timothy (Donna) and Terry (Laura); his stepgrandsons, Jeffrey, Nicholas and Adam Cline; his stepgreat-grandson Evan Cline; his wife Jayne; and also, Annilee Vander Hart, Jameson Porritt, Rachelle, Frances, Frederick Porritt and Mike McCloskey. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandson, and nephews and nieces.
