He was predeceased by: his parents, Clare and Nora; his wife Phyllis Jane Gless; his siblings, Emmett (Bette Gless), Gerald (Marjorie Gless), Richard (Phyllis Gless) and Mary Claire Gless; and his niece Kathy Jackson.
He is survived by: his son James (Kristen Lazarski); his grandchildren, Sarah, Josh Donker, Nathan, Amy Gless, Mary, Steve Kaiser and Lynn Gless; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Emmett Donker, Delanie, Anna, Gavin Gless, Tyler, Lilly and Dillon Kaiser; his sisters-in-law, Cecilia Patterson and Ruth Debrie; and his close friend Barbara Scott.
