He is survived by: his wife Joy; his daughter Anne; his son-in-law Cord Sutter; his siblings, Sue VanHoek (Bert) and Andrew Lotterman; his mother-in-law Marcia Boerman; and his sister-in-law Jayne Boerman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
