He is survived by: his sons, Brent Schnell (Laurie) of Traverse City and Brad Schnell (Tina) of Sanford, Michigan; his grandchildren, Lindsey and Tyler Schnell; his stepgrandchildren, Raymond Cassiday, Amanda Firman and Ryian Dawson (Megan); and his brother Howard Schnell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
