With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Elmer Britton (Cadillac, Michigan), who passed away on April 16, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Britton; his daughter Carol Rose; his daughter-in-law Debbie Britton; his granddaughter Lacey Britton; and his parents, Elmer Britton and Nancy Britton of Marion.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Britton (Angie), Marilyn Freed (Dale), Jewelie Shukla (Kaleb) and Dawn McConnell (Bryan); and his grandchildren, Dan Wiseman, Joshua LaRoque, Tim Britton, John Britton, Kellie Britton, Matt Vanderhoef, Liza Vanderhoef, Sarah Freed, Ben Freed, Andrew Freed, Ryvers Shukla, Raymond Campbell, Scott McConnell, Elizabeth Freed and William McConnell.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the First Church of the Nazarene (1125 E Division St, Cadillac, MI 49601). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, there will be an opportunity to give through Nazarene compassionate ministries.
