She was predeceased by: her parents, Enar Otberg and Marian Otberg (Sorensen); her husband Maurice M. Peterson; her brothers, Eldon Otberg and Adolf Otberg; her aunt Alpha Otberg; and her parents-in-law, Phyllis Sours (Wallace), Gordon Fuller, Robert Peterson (Nancy) and Karen Bushor (Lee).
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Peterson (Cheryl) of Manton, Brenda Nelson (Mike) of Tustin and Marikae Nixon (Charlie) of Kent City; her grandchildren, Maria Kitch (Craig), Matt Nixon (Amanda), Sarah Rood (Mitch), Lindsay Sandelius (Justin), Christie Kanouse (Zane), Jessica LaFreniere (Matt), Meagan Heuker (Troy) and Kendra Baty (Josh Moreno); her brother Carroll Otberg (Marion) of Holland; and her mothers-in-law, Dolores Fuller and Kathleen Richards (Harry). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cherry Grove Church of the Nazarene or Grace Community Bible Church.
