With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Venus F. Burke of Cadillac, Michigan, born in McBain, Michigan, who passed away on October 8, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nolan Andrew and Gladys Lois Merritt (Davis); her husband Carl A. Burke; her siblings, Lowell, James Merritt and Vievian Howe; and her granddaughter Lindsay Richner.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Burke of Birmingham, Karen Richner (Scott) of Isle and Kevin Burke of Cadillac; her grandsons, Aaron Richner (Anna Splady), Andrew Richner (Abigail Gutman-Gonzalez) and Matthew Richner; her sisters, Marion Hillard of Cadillac and Carol Anderson (Duane) of Evart; and her brother-in-law Nolan Howe of Ann Arbor, Michigan.. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Missaukee County Humane Society.
