He is survived by: his children, Nancy Anderson (Greg) of Cadillac, Michael Mahalak and Jeffrey Mahalak (Margie); his grandchildren, Kristin (Matt) of Nesnera, Beth Mahalak (Anthony Konecni), Lindsay Mahalak (James DeFoor) and Ali Mahalak; his brothers, Lawrence "Joe" Mahalak of Howell and William "Bill" Mahalak (Connie) of Port Charlotte; and his sister-in-law Ruth Weiland of Frankenmuth.
