He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Johnson and Constance Johnson (Trowbridge). He is survived by: his wife Joan C. Miller Altman; his children, Rick Johnson of Boon, Carrie Johnson of Florida, Scott Altman of Cadillac, Jackie Arévalo (José) of Virginia, Marty Altman (Shannon) of Cadillac and Beth Dore (Kevin) of Presque Isle; and his siblings, Denny Johnson of Florida and Cathy Herrick of Manistee. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
