With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Pearl Moffit of Cadillac, Michigan, who passed away on September 26, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Holmes and Lillian Pearl Holmes (Langworthy); her husband Harold E. Moffit; and her siblings, Myrna Holmes, Aletha Feeley, Wendell Holmes, Wilda Shaw, Doris Draves, Eldon Holmes, Doyle Holmes, Sherman Holmes, Vesta Smith and Alvin Holmes.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Moffit (Margaret) of LeClaire, Brian Moffit (Cynthia) of Pennsylvania, Timothy Moffit (Kimberly) of Portage, MI, Sharold Friedrich (David) of Fergus Falls and Marsha McGuire (Mike) of Cadillac; her grandchildren, Heather, Heidi, Michael, Matthew, Andrew, Katharine, Brandon, Samuel, Alysse, MacKale, McCoy and MaGill; and her close friend David Riplow. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Zach Sobiech Osteosarcoma Cancer Fund.
