Sherwin John Broersma Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sherwin John Broersma (Cadillac, Michigan), who passed away on April 21, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Broersma and Trena Broersma (Kruis); his daughter Amy Brown; and his sister Marilyn Jordan (Alyce Brower). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Anne Broersma (Rickert); his children, Steven Broersma (Sallie) and Susan Reilly (Jim); his grandchildren, Zebulon Broersma, Abbigayle Broersma, Amanda Quist (Spencer), Isaac Broersma and Margaret "Maggie" Reilly; and his siblings, Grace Closius and Richard Broersma (Joan).
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cadillac Christian Reformed Church (1110 E Division St, Cadillac, MI 49601). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Western Theological Seminary or Words of Hope.
