He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Springberg; his daughters, Laura Gunter (Michael Thompson) of Traverse City and Sue Conerly of Cadillac; his grandsons, Victor Hubbard (Savannah) of Wyoming and Bradley Hubbard (Claire) of Baltimore, Maryland; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Jace, Lexie and Vivian; and his brothers, Gary Holmquist of Cadillac and Dan Holmquist (Dee) of Ovid. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
