Bassett of Cadillac, Michigan, born in Ferndale, Michigan, who passed away on February 24, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Bassett and Dora Bassett (Apps); his spouse Marcus; his siblings, Ralph N. Bassett, Jack, Robert, Gordon, William Howard, Douglas Bassett, Alvena Schramm and Florence Shine; his son John Bassett; and his former wife Joan.
He is survived by: his children, David Bassett (Sally) of Cadillac, Bethany Fauble (Cecil) of Cadillac and Diane Beale (Norm) of Cadillac; and his daughter-in-law Heidi Bassett of Kingwood, Texas. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Michigan Cadillac office.
