He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Joseph and Irene Szymke (Podgorski); his wife Catherine Szymke of Cadillac; his daughters, Melissa Adams (Mark) of Brooklyn, MI and Kerry Zain (Max) of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; his grandchildren, Laredo, Adams of Nevada, Sara, Nora and Emma Zain; his sister Laura Dortzbach (Richard) of Middleton, WI; and his parents-in-law, Gerald and Mary Jane Morris of Cadillac. He was also cherished by sisters and brothers-in-law; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Robert's memory.
