He was predeceased by: his parents, Archibald MacDonald and Ethel MacDonald (Parkhill); his former wives, Jean "Betty" MacDonald and Rose Genaw; and his brothers, James, William and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Norman; his children, Barbara Salo (Kenneth) of Bellaire, Mary Farat (Stephen) of West Bloomfield and Andy MacDonald of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Allison, Daniel Farat, Grant and Morgan Kennedy; and his stepchildren, Sherri Gorlewski (Kenneth), Perry Norman (Calisa), Merri Jo Dawson (Jim), Michelle Schwitzer (Gary), Rita DeOrio (James) and Ernest Genaw (Lori). He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church in Gilbert, and Hospice of Michigan.
